Here are the real Christopher Robin's stuffed animals, which inspired AA Milne's timeless classics. They live in the New York Public Library; I'm hoping to visit them on my upcoming trip to New York.
Whenever I hear mention of Winnie the Pooh I always silently thank my grandmother. Apparently, my mother wanted to name me Christopher Robin Freeman but my grandmother realized that that wouldn't have been kind. She won and I wasn't beaten up all the time in elementary school.
